Mrs. Merkwan's Standards Mastery Class
Course Description
Hi everyone! I miss you all and am sad I won't be able to get to know some of my new students right away. Hopefully you all are well and remember, this will pass and we will all be back together soon! Please know, that I am here for anything you might need, even if it is not for my class. The easiest way to reach me is by my email, which I will be monitoring throughout the school day (7:40-3:10).
While we are all learning from home, I would like each of you to continue to work on your Exact Path through Edmentum. https://login.edmentum.com/ For those of you who have not had me as your teacher yet, please click on the link below to watch a short video explaining how Exact Path works. Additionally, for students who are new to my class I will be sending you a personal email with your username and password. If you have not heard from me by noon on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 please send me an email so I can get you what is needed.

I will be monitoring your progress in Exact Path. I would like you each to make it a goal to work on your skill sets given in Exact Path for an average of 20-30 minutes, at least 3 days a week. I understand that you have six total classes and if you are unable to work on your Exact Path for the requested amount of time, just shoot me an email and we will help find a solution for you.
I have been using Zoom lately and think I have a good enough understanding of how to utilize video chats through this program. This tool will be useful if you have questions about how the Exact Path program works, or if you wanted to video chat with me to help with a specific skill set. I look forward to helping you navigate this new way of school and please never hesitate to reach out with any question, big or small, you come across. I would much rather you shoot me an email rather than you trying to figure something out on your own. We hope to make these next few weeks as enjoyable as possible with minimal stress. Hang in there! :)
