Assignment for week 2- Ada Lovelace on Brain Pop in Google Classroom

Assignment for week 2- Ada Lovelace on Brain Pop

Good Morning!
This week you will learn about Ada Lovelace. Ada was an English Mathemetician from the early 1800's. Her work in math is recognized as she worked with Charles Babbage on the first first analytical machine. She published the first algorithm. She is recognized as one of the first computer programmers. Why is this important to you? In this class, we start to look at computer programming or coding. I teach this as a sequence. The history of computers is important. They have evolved through mathematical thinking and logic.
Your assignment is on BrainPop. Log in with Google Classroom. The assignment is there with a graded quiz and an optional game. In my class, you can always redo quizzes! ( Good, Better, Best! Never let is rest, until your good is better and your better is your best!)
If you are not in Google Classroom as of 8:00 am on Monday morning, the assignment will not show. You will need to take a screen shot of your quiz and email it to me or post it on this assignment page. [email protected] or [email protected]
Have a great day! Be Graemazing!

All about me! Your first assignment in STEM in Google Classroom

All about me! Your first assignment in STEM

Hello students. Welcome to STEM. I was so excited to meet you and teach you this quarter. We are going to get through this and try to have some fun along the way.
For your first assignment, you need to create a Google Document. I want you to introduce yourself to me. Tell me at least three things about yourself and it must be more than I like to eat, sleep and play video games. You do not have to limit yourself to 3 things. Use complete sentences. Please add a photo of yourself. It will not be shared. This is a private assignment.
There will be one more assignment this week. From then on, I will post your weekly assignments on Mondays.
I am here for you. Please don't hesitate to contact me.
Mrs. Graeme
