Welcome to Colonel Smith Middle School!
I am excited you are joining me on a learning journey about mathematics. Your classroom is designed to be interactive and engaging. Asking questions, working collaboratively, and making mistakes is expected. Learning from all these experiences grows understanding and knowledge.
Some of you will be mastering 8th grade standards in preparation for high school, while others have taken an alternate route this year to conquer Algebra 1. I am here to help you learn and succeed. I know students learn differently and value you sharing those insights with me. I encourage you to ask questions and seek answers to "why".
I look forward to meeting each of you and the journey we are undertaking.
